to build a house: day 0

Greetings from Mexico! Three new groups arrived yesterday (Georgia, Virginia & Oklahoma) and the missionaries are ready to start building today. I'm going to try to make it out to the sites each day this week and take pictures of each day's progress.

Here's the picture of what the groups will see when they arrive today. The construction staff lays a foundation and the first course of blocks two weeks in advance and the groups will begin the rest of the work today. You'll see about 900 blocks behind the house- they'll form a block line to move them closer to the house, then go 7 more courses.
